Hoover Ball
Open to adults and youth in 4th grade and above! Join the fun with this unique, fast-paced game that’s perfect for all skill levels.

Hoover Prairie Run
A challenging 5K through the blooming tallgrass prairie or a scenic 1.5K walk around the Hoover National Historic Site grounds. Click for full details (early bird pricing ends July 25)! You may also register on-site day of.

Fire in the Hole Bags Tourney
The annual double-elimination bags (cornhole) tournament hosted by the West Branch volunteer Fire Dept! Grab a partner and register now to enjoy the competition in the Beer Garden on Friday evening.

Mayor's Parade
No pre-registration is needed to participate! Just bring your completed form to the Lions Field shelter (242 Pedersen St) on Saturday between 8:30–9:30 a.m. to check in. Cars, trucks, tractors, and walkers are encouraged — decorate, get creative, and don’t forget the candy!

Kids' Tractor Pull
West Branch Lion's Club will host the annual Tractor Pull for young children to compete in 5 weight classes to drive a pedal-powered tractor and sled on a 50' course! Children must weigh less than 70 pounds to participate. This is a free activity. Register on site that evening.

HPF Member Lunch
Enjoy a casual lunch and meaningful Life Celebration with the Hoover Presidential Foundation on Saturday, August 9 at 11:30 AM on the lawn of the C.E. Smith House, right next to the Hoover Birthplace Cottage.

Vendors & Food Trucks
Apply now to join us as a featured vendor on Saturday, August 9, 2025 during Hoover's Hometown Days. We are seeking food trucks, crafters/makers, and unique pop-up shops to complement our downtown businesses. Application closes May 20th.
