Reminder: Register now for the Mayor’s Parade!

Don’t forget, you can register NOW for the Mayor’s Parade!  The parade will be on Saturday, August 5th at 10:00 am.  Click here to check out this year’s parade route and detour information.

Be thinking about how you want to decorate!  The theme this year is “Honoring Volunteers.”  Walking and lightly tossing candy are allowed.

There will still be a registration table available the morning of the parade at the Lions Field shelter, but registering before July 31st will guarantee that your organization is properly announced when you pass the stage on Main Street!

Parade lineup will take place on W Orange St. at the intersection of N Maple St. between 8:45 and 9:30 am.  Please enter the staging area on Pedersen St. at the intersection of W Main Street.  There will be event staff available to direct participants to the lineup areas.

Volunteers needed!

We need your help to make all of these great Hoover’s Hometown Days events come together this summer. There are plenty of opportunities available, including event photography, information, parade help, and much more.

Please consider signing up for your opportunity to be part of our yearly celebration of West Branch.

New in 2017… Juggling Jeff!

We’d like to welcome “Juggling Jeff” Koziatek to the Main Street Stage on Saturday afternoon!

Juggling Jeff is a professional entertainer, speaker, and life coach who brings positivity, humor, and tons of energy to a show that’s sure to appeal to all ages. When you watch Juggling Jeff, you might see balancing acts, daring escapes, jokes, stilts, knives, flaming torches, unicycles… and, of course, juggling. Plenty of audience participation means there won’t be a dull moment!

Check out the video below to see what kind of shenanigans you can expect to see from Jeff on Saturday.
